About me
After more than 20 years working in-house as a writer and editor, I am now freelance.
I worked for Travel Trade Gazette (which became TTG Media) between 2005 and 2016, where I grew my career from sub editor to features editor.
I gained experience in cruise publishing and with a PR agency, before transitioning from a temporary contract with Telegraph's commercial content team into a full-time editorial role with Telegraph Travel.
Life took me full circle when I headed back to TTG in 2022 as features editor, and I became senior editor. I left the business in 2026 after a restructure.
Travel has always been in my blood. I signed up for my first thrilling adventure when I was 16 – sailing in a Tall Ships Race – and that wanderlust has never left me.
While I was a student I backpacked throughout South America, and as a staff writer I have been hosted in some of the world’s finest hotels.
Nowadays, I share my passion for travel with my husband and two children.
I am based in Horley, Surrey – an easy train ride from London, and a short drive to Brighton for vitamin sea.
